Coming soon....Kings of Atlantis - Pearl series.

Monday, December 13, 2010

I'm now selling some limited run Tuttz resin cats at Sedona's Boutique in my home town of Hoboken NJ. Sales have been great and I will be restocking them shortly with a few more Pearl white Tuttz made exclusively for their store and I threw in a few of the black and gold Tuttz OG's for them to carry as well.

Phil and his wife Daisy sell some beautiful hand crafted jewelry and bags out of their high end shop Sedona on Washington Ave. in Hoboken. If you're in town try and stop by and I promise you that you won't be disappointed with their products.

I'm teaming up with the awesome Dragatomi toy peeps on the West Coast and dropping some resin goodies at their booth for Designer Con show on Nov. 2oth. The Bronze Edition resin Tuttz cats will be making their debut there (only 6 pieces will be made and will be exclusive only to Dragatomi) along with my new resin series the Kings Of Atlantis resin skulls (and Talisman magnets).

My apologies for the sparse posts as my life has taken on some big changes. More to come.

Saturday, September 11, 2010

Hey all - if you noticed the GoldMane Promotions links and blog no longer functioning it's because that division has been shut down. We have some major changes and restructuring in the works for all of GoldMane Entertainment Inc. happening throughout the rest of this year. All sculpture and prototyping projects will now go through our toy and collectibles division Argonaut Resins until further notice.

For all of our Promotional customers we'd like to send out a big Thank You for using our services to help your companies move forward and be seen. All future changes will be posted here on this blog concerning the future of Goldmane Entertainment.

Welcome to a day in the artist's life post # 1. Today's post is for a Revenant/Ghost zero resin bust order that went out today (yes we have a few left and we still sell them). Dave Flora the writer creator of Ghost Zero needed to fill a order for a sale but sold out of all of his copies (of the bust I sculpted up for him) so I shipped out one from my batch to keep him covered. On to the good stuff!

1 - 2 Shred up some black, gray and white paper to make the ghostly confetti - well the Ghost Zero comics are in black and white after all Makes sense to me. You can order Dave Flora's books online here and here. I love these books and I'm sure you will too.
3 - 6 Cut out printed custom box, fold it and glue it up. My trusty Elmers Glue has never let me down, good stuff.
7 - 8 Add in one handy dandy step by step mini printed booklet of the actual bust in progress - all the way to completion! Extra treats are always good and make the customers happy.
9 - How about that? A certificate of authenticity signed by the writer creator Dave Flora and myself as sculptor/producer right on the back of the box! Dave and I can be quite clever when we want to be...
10 - Pack everything up and fill and layer everything up with some ghostly confetti as filler and it's a wrap.
Thanks for reading!

Finally got a chance to download the rest of the Toy Fair project images of the sculpt I was working on in the live demo at the show. This guy is six inches tall and very clunky. Maybe one day I'll finish it, but you can get a overall idea where I was going with the design.

Toy Fair day 1 was fun. I got to catch up with some old friends, make new ones and saw a ton of amazing products from all the big companies. The snapshot below is some of my work featured in my day 1 set up that included vinyl toys, resin toys, maquettes and a garage kit bust. I'll have a slightly different arrangement and pieces for day 2 and will try and get a shot of the demo sculpt I'll be working on live next.

Tuesday, February 09, 2010
