Welcome to a day in the artist's life post # 1. Today's post is for a Revenant/Ghost zero resin bust order that went out today (yes we have a few left and we still sell them). Dave Flora the writer creator of Ghost Zero needed to fill a order for a sale but sold out of all of his copies (of the bust I sculpted up for him) so I shipped out one from my batch to keep him covered. On to the good stuff!

1 - 2 Shred up some black, gray and white paper to make the ghostly confetti - well the Ghost Zero comics are in black and white after all Makes sense to me. You can order Dave Flora's books online here and here. I love these books and I'm sure you will too.
3 - 6 Cut out printed custom box, fold it and glue it up. My trusty Elmers Glue has never let me down, good stuff.
7 - 8 Add in one handy dandy step by step mini printed booklet of the actual bust in progress - all the way to completion! Extra treats are always good and make the customers happy.
9 - How about that? A certificate of authenticity signed by the writer creator Dave Flora and myself as sculptor/producer right on the back of the box! Dave and I can be quite clever when we want to be...
10 - Pack everything up and fill and layer everything up with some ghostly confetti as filler and it's a wrap.

Toy Fair day 1 was fun. I got to catch up with some old friends, make new ones and saw a ton of amazing products from all the big companies. Argonaut Resins (the GoldMane Ent. toy division) has moved!!! I've been busy moving and setting up at our new location. We'll have a few designer resin toys from a couple of hot artists debuting at the San Diego Comic Con this year so keep an eye on the Argonaut Resins blog for all toy related goodies.

Seems like Marisa's Pizza in Hoboken was a happy camper with the first round of staff tshirts we made for them so they went and ordered another batch with a few extra colors. Marisa's is located at 100 Hudson Street Hoboken NJ - 201 710 5094. The chicken roll they make there is delicious!

Got some news on the GoldMane toy division Argonaut Resins - is moving to a new location. Hopefully I'll get to post more updates about that as I settle in. More soon...

GoldMane's Promotional division went another round with The World's Best Bowlers Corp. and knocked out a couple of banners (a 4 footer by 10 footer and a 2 footer by 4 footer) for their second big (Father's Day Classic) bowling tournament this past weekend. Go WBB!!!

Carnival Cartoons is releasing Pierce and Nathan in... BLUE!!! This time around They teamed up with Monkeyhouse Toys (www.monkeyhousetoys.com) to bring you a very limited edition of 50 blue Pierce/Nathan vinyl toys. Pierce sports a monkey on his chest & Nathan is rockin' a monkey on his back and each set will come complete w/ a signed miniprint.

The promotional arm of GoldMane Ent. Inc. is on the move with a project for the "World's Best Bowlers" tournament this weekend at Jersey Brunswick Zone bowling alley. Our promotional section produced these hot looking patches from concept art to finished embroidered product.

Our logo art design was also used on the registration table banner and the show ceiling banner.
